Daily routine

This is how our day goes...
8am we are still in bed and Asa slithers out of bed (yes he sneaks into our bed in the middle of the night) to sneak away to grandma's.
Mommy: Asa where are you going?
Asa: To grandma's
Mommy: No, grandma is sleeping
Asa: No she's not!
Mommy: Yes she is (She isn't really, but that's what I tell him to distract him from leaving me so early.)
Asa proceeds to look out the window to discover that grandma's car is in fact in the driveway, which always means she's home and accepting small visitors. Asa proceeds to sneak out the house. Here are the pictures to prove rain or shine clothes or not, he is going to GRANDMA'S no if's and's or but's about it!!

Birthday Bash!

It is amazing to think that 3 years ago I became a mother! We celebrated my big boys 3rd birthday last night. He had a blast. Throughout the day he would say "Happy birday ah me!" We had been hyping him up all week about how it was going to be his birthday and he was so excited. I don't know who was more excited....me or him! I decided to be ambitious and make his cake. We were having a "race car" birthday, so I had to keep in theme and made a race car track. I am not a huge cake fan, mainly because of the frosting. So I decided to make a whipped cream, cream cheese frosting. Oh boy was it GOOD!!!! It did take about all afternoon though. Baking is not one of my natural talents, so it took me probably twice as long as a normal person LOL.

Asa was so excited for the cake. he talked all day about his race car cake
It took him about 10 tries to blow the candles out. It was so cute.
Opening presents
Baby brother for a present
Being excited over the HUGE Cars coloring book his Auntie Em Gave him
The aftermath.

It was a good time and it was so fun to see him so animated throughout the whole evening.

Good times in Cali

So last weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Disneyland with my "in-laws". Cody's very generous Grandma treated all the "girls" to go to a trip to California. And it really was the best time EVER!!! I think about the trip every day and how much I loved going and getting to know cousins better. Thanks Gramma Sis for including me! I couldn't believe I went on rides like the Tower of Terror, and Screaming California. It was so fun though. I laughed so much that whole trip that my stomach ached every day. Angie even played off to the parking attendant where we pay to get in that she was a "real" asian that "no speak enlish". He totally believed her and worked through the whole $12 fee with her! Then she would tell us all "I clean toilets, drive white folk, and get to go to disneyland". Good times! Thanks so much everyone for the best trip! I will definitely remember this forever!

In the small quaint airport in Long Beach you board outside...and there are only 4 gates! it was so cute!
Having a good time in California adventure
I got to see Asa's favorite character Lighting Mcqueen! I sent this pic to Cody from my phone and Asa called me and was so excited that I got to see his "race car". He loves this movie.
Minnie Mouse's house. Look how cute this Chaise is! I loved the toon town!

Okay, the above two need a little explaining. It was hilarous. One of the nights we were getting on the shuttle to the parking garage and we had to squish in wherever we could. Well Angie and I ended up sitting across from a local older couple who comes to DL on saturday nights for the dancing. Well after we had made a bit of small talk with them it occurred to me that since we were kinda squished in there, there was no place for my arm other than around Angie. So I whispered to her "do you think they think we are "together") and she said yes and we laughed about it. So she proceeds to tell this couple that we are on our honeymoon and they totally believed us and asked what we voted on Prop 8!!! So that was our joke for the rest of the trip. So of course since we were on our "Honeymoon" we had to have a picture in front with the mickey head. Who knew that we could go from MIL to married LOL.
6 out of 10 of us had names that started with "A"-Angeline, Andrea, Anna, Angie, Amy, and Alecia.

For more of our disneyland adventure you can see THIS post from Jennifer and THIS post from Amy.

Bored

Well I'm bored. It's nearly 11 PM and I should be in bed, or at least getting ready for bed, but I find myself glued to the internet (not uncommon) I have already blog surfed, facebook-ed, and learned the basics of Digital scrapbooking. I now know that I don't have the patience to learn the technical bits to "digi scrappin". I see many beautiful pages done "digi" but I don't feel like I could be bothered with it. Though, I just developed 440 prints that I apperantly couldn't bothered with scrapping those either LOL. Oh well. I can blame that on my two boys and lack of "free" time right??!? So anyway. I figured I'd post some pictures of my family that we took a few weeks ago just for fun.

This was a candid shot of my dad. He was just sitting there looking like he needed his picture taken. Turned out to be a GREAT shot!

Here are the younger half of my sibblings. My two brother's, their pets-Ping(the duck), Neeko(the cat), Mac(the dog), and of course my parents.
This is my sister, Emily, and her family
And then my older brother, Jonathon, and his family!

So there we have it. Now you are all acquainted with my family. And when I do something that seems "off the wall-ish" it could very well be that I came from a hippy-granola kind of family. Though I love every bit of the fact that my dad is a raw foodist and is fluent in Yoga, my older brother is a genius with every thing he touches, that my sister is the "numbers" person, that my mom is so creative it's just not funny, and my two little brother's, well they are yet to be determined. Though, they are oosing the "genius" and "creative" traits as well.

Halloween

Here are our Halloween photos! Asa hated his costume. Not that it wasn't good enough, just that he couldn't be bothered with wearing it. Coen thought it was hilarious and was laughing and dancing around the house when I first put it on. It was fun. We went trick or treating breifly (like only 6 houses) and then went to a halloween party where the boys got to be free!

Photo Tag

I saw this off another blog and thought it would be fun. So here's the deal, you go to your picture folder, chose the 4th file and the 4th picture. And then explain.

SO here is mine....Cody likes to download all of his Iphone photo's to my laptop...and it looks like this one is a picture of his missing tools from the lube shop! Too funny! I was hoping it would be a cute picture of one of my kids or something LOL.
