Fathers Day

We spent actual Fathers day with my grandparents.  It was so nice to see them and be able to wish my grandpa a Happy Fathers Day in person!  Here are pictures of the boys playing in their beautiful backyard!

Truck Pulls

Fathers day weekend we went to Idaho to the tractor pulls.  The boys thought it was fun to watch.  Cody put in new cab lights and Coen thought they were great toys!  Asa loved watching the different trucks, but Coen HATED the loud trucks and tractors.  He has a problem with loud noises in general.  So I had to go out and walk him around a bit.

Coen learns to walk

Coen just discovered this push toy today and was LOVING being able to push it around.  You can't really hear him, but he is laughing his cute little head off!  I would predict he walks full on in the next month or so!

Oh yea and you gotta love Asa's reaction to the whole thing in the end.  I was trying to hold him back so I could get the movie of Asa.

Asa's funny sleeping spots

Asa falls asleep in the funniest places some days!  This one he was laying on the cedar chest at the end of the bed watching TV and next thing we knew he was out cold!

Asa fell asleep in my craft room while I was making something.  He was pooped!

At work with Daddy

Here are some pics of the boys at the shop with Daddy.

Baby Powder

This is what happens when big brother gets ahold of the baby powder.  Mommy was not happy!  If you think it's bad on Coen, you should have seen his room.  It still smells of baby powder!

Cousins

Here is Sam and Coen.  they are only 13 days apart.  Sam is my brother's darling boy.

weekend fun

Asa had so much fun playing this weekend that he fell asleep randomly on the floor!

Lexi was pretty worn out too

Coen Henry

We had Coen Blessed as a member of our church on Sunday April 27th.  We had a small gathering at our house for an intimate special day.  Coen was blessed by Cody and in the circle were the Bishop and his counselors, Jonathon, Rik, My Dad, and Cody's Dad.  The blanket that we used is very special because it was from some yarn that came from Grandma Mary's craft estate that I inherited.  Grandma Mary passed away I think 4 years ago.  My mom made the blanket for Coen in honor of Grandma Mary.  I am sure you are wondering why we waited until Coen was 7 months old, and part of the reason is that we were trying to coordinate the best we could with his various Grandma's who were going out of town on several of the first sundays between his birth and April 27th.  And after waiting so long we still missed one of them.  But we did our best.  It was a nice day.  I lucked out with Coen's outfit and actually found it at Old Navy.  Meemah (tammy) thought he looked like a little "flower child".  LOL.  I think so too, but what do you expect coming from my family!!  Have any of you met my parents LOL!!  (my dad in particular!)
