Our 24th of July adventure

We had the funnest weekend.  We went on our first camping trip as a family of four.  we went up to Whitney Reservoir in the Uintah Mountains.  The weather was nice and it was just perfect.  We went with Frank, Daron, Angie and their boys.  The boys had so much fun.  I thought it would be hard with Coen since he isn't walking yet, but he did well.  Very dirty, but he had a blast.  There were old campfire spots all over our "lounging" area of the campsite, so whenever the kids would play in that spot they got black from the soot.  I had to bath Coen in the sink of the 5th wheel one night because he was so dirty.  Asa loved being able to ride the 4 wheelers and his motorcycle (without having to worry about hitting the house).  We went on a 3 hour ride on Saturday and got to over look Whitney Reservoir and the view was just amazing.  The whole ride was neat.  Although for the pansie in me, I spent about 30 minutes of it being white knuckle!  I wasn't cut out for "adventure" the way everyone else was :).  Frank has two 4-wheelers and him and I rode them.  Asa rode on Cody's bike with him.  we strapped the car seats on the back of the wheelers and off we went.  Asa thought it was so fun to be able to ride on dad's motocycle.  Cody was popping wheely's and doing small jumps with Asa on there with him.  Like father like son is all i've got to say.  It was a great weekend and I am so glad we had the opportunity to spend the time with the family.  Here are some snaps of our ride and just random shots.

Honestly seeing the boys strapped to the four wheeler in their car seats is hilarious. I love it. Looks like so much fun. Do you think you guys will try to come to Canyonlands this year? It would lots of fun if you did.

Looks like you guys had a blast. Camping is usualy pretty fun, especially with kids. But that mountain dirt is so dark and "dirty". I used to use small blow up swimming pools to bath the little kids in, they loved it.
